To Break Bread is to engage in a comfortable, friendly interaction. Originally, the term was literal, meaning that a loaf of bread would be broken to share and eat, a casual meal among associates. Today, the term is used to describe a social interaction where something is shared. This could be food, money, commodities, assets, or other various items.

Remember the correct rules to breathing are:
- for every second you able to breathe in you should breathe out double the length of time
- breathe in softly and breathe out long
- breathe in through your nose and out through your nose however if you wish to engage good parasympathetic activation breathe out through a relaxed open mouth
- breathe in and belly button pushes out; breathe out and your belly button pulls in.
- mindfulness practice concentrate on 12 breath cycles in a row counting each one. When you lose your way start again.

As important why are you avoiding it?

Set your new routine in place this week that allows you to do it. For many the answer is - "I am lazy"! Perhaps it is not laziness but rather priorities out of alignment.

So here is the Chiropractic getting everything back in alignment.

Set your routines and make sure you put in place the mechanism of success. What will help you succeed?

Sympathetic and parasympathetic;
These are the two types of body responses. Sympathetic is the stress response and parasympathetic is the relaxation and healing response.

Do a quick test - switch your heart rate monitor on. When you breathe in you activate your sympathetic thus your heart rate should go up. When you breathe out you activate your parasympathetic and your heart rate goes down. This is normal. Is this what happens for you?

If you check your heart randomly and then focus on your breathing; if you sympathetic dominate your breathing will not affect your heart rate or it will go up.
If you are parasympathetic dominate your breathing will slow down your heart rate.

What is your dominate state?

When you move; always move on the breath out. This allows you to engage clearer and stronger!

That mean when you pull or push something; lift or pick up something do it as you breathe out!

The body is self healing and self regulating. Which implies that the body can be resolved from many illnesses, diseases, disorders, syndromes, infirmity, dysfunctions and problems...

However it requires two things:
1) you clear the interference. What is interfering with your body's ability to heal?
2) you provide your body with what it requires. Where are you starving your body of what it requires to heal?

Do you know how to relax? Do you know how to get your body in a relaxed state? Do you know how to stop thinking and to be calm?

What is your favourite way to achieve this state? Can you find it within or do you have to use something external?

What is your favourite? How does that affect your blood sugar...

Dr. Travis Mitchell

The glycemic index (GI) is a number from 0 to 100 assigned to a food, with pure glucose arbitrarily given the value of 100, which represents the relative rise in the blood glucose level two hours after consuming that food.

Therefore consuming foods low on the GI index is helpful.
