To Break Bread is to engage in a comfortable, friendly interaction. Originally, the term was literal, meaning that a loaf of bread would be broken to share and eat, a casual meal among associates. Today, the term is used to describe a social interaction where something is shared. This could be food, money, commodities, assets, or other various items.

Breaking Bread

So we are back from Easter break. It is important to point out the physiological law of taking time out and time off.

A research of football teams in the UK showed that if they consistently training at the same high intensity every day within 12 weeks every person on the team was injured in some way or other.

This is important for most of us whose life’s vibrate on high intensity levels on a constant basis. So there are two factors we recommend for longevity -
1) 5:2 lifestyle; 5 days per week disciplined and focused and detailed; 2 days per week offer variety
2) take holiday every 12 weeks. It does not matter for how long and it definitely does not matter where you go. They fact that you break routine and find deep relaxation is critical.

When we are on leave I always -
1) set my new daily rituals, routines, focuses and intentions going forward
2) set my next holiday

What is your intention for the next segment of 2018 and where is your next holiday?
