To Break Bread is to engage in a comfortable, friendly interaction. Originally, the term was literal, meaning that a loaf of bread would be broken to share and eat, a casual meal among associates. Today, the term is used to describe a social interaction where something is shared. This could be food, money, commodities, assets, or other various items.

Breakfast - smoothie
Lunch - fruit (sometimes I eat fruit because I wish to keep light in my digestive system and I feel that the fruit sugar helps to stabilize my energy throughout the day!) trial and error

The wind is bringing many antigens (things that are not good for the body and causes an immune response). Please make sure you look after your immune systems and especially upper respiratory tract.

Breakfast - smoothie
Lunch - grain free crackers with tomato and herb pesto
Dinner - chicken and sweet potato mash; gem squash

So I have not mentioned much about the 100 push up challenge however someone asked me about it today. So here goes; I have been diligent with doing the 100 push-ups at least once per week since middle of June. This is over and above the other forms of arm exercises that I do. I can now do the 100 push-ups in sets of 30, 30, 20, 20...full and correct form!
I am working towards doing more per set without loosing fullness and form.
Have you joined me on the push-up challenge? If you want info about it please message me directly.

Thanks to Dave Gardner and Budokon (YouTube them!); I spent the morning at Gacie Barre
http://graciebarra.co.za
Learning how to move my body, find mobility (strength + flexibility), coordination and control and most importantly have fun.

Spring is definitely here (although) to be technical, spring is officially on the 23rd September (spring equinox). So hopefully you have planned moving and shaking your body...getting rid of the winter hoard (FAT!) and being ready for the summer.

If you wish to learn how to move speak to me directly so I can help you develop your own personal movement plan. You may wish to attend our movement class on a Tuesday evening at 6pm.

Have a movement filled week

Dinner - awaiting!

We speak about health as an optimal state and not merely the absence of disease or symptoms...I am so grateful for the participation of the people we work with because today I had numerous patients making the transference from a patient to a participant.

A patient is a person who’s a sufferer or victim
A participant is a person who participates, shares or takes part of the health

These people started in huge pain and now we discussing the best they could be! Huge change...positive care

What is the best you can be?

We believe there are only 6 things that a person can look to change to improve their health and Happyness:
1) Nutrition and Hydration, supplementation
2) Sleep
3) movement
4) stillness
5) mindset
6) great Chiropractic adjustment.
