To Break Bread is to engage in a comfortable, friendly interaction. Originally, the term was literal, meaning that a loaf of bread would be broken to share and eat, a casual meal among associates. Today, the term is used to describe a social interaction where something is shared. This could be food, money, commodities, assets, or other various items.

Had a great chat with an awesome participant about the awareness and focus of movement. Movement can be so healing if done correctly for your body.
Stop exercising without awareness and focus.
Stop and begin the conversation with your body on what movement it requires now to be better.
Get your adjustment to connect you back to your body and allow the interferences to release!
Experience your life from a new pattern of movement
The competition is NOW live - 22nd May. Yoga Joe is in hiding again.
We have decided not to take a picture of him hiding for at least the 1st week because people found him too easily last time.
1) find him
2) take a picture of him with time and date
3) give a cool name to the pose
4) WhatsApp me directly
5) be 1st and win a complimentary movement with DrT
Good Luck!
Breakfast - smoothie
Lunch - quiche
Dinner - stuffed pepper with veg and mince
I have seen a fair amount of digestive complaints that stem from congestion clearing into the digestive system. Mucus is an irritant of the digestive system and can create pain, inflammation and change the bowel motion. Best is to flush it out with high levels of hydration. We also like to adjust to make sure the congestion does not keep building. Fiber and probiotics to bring the body back into balance and otherwise visit your homeopath to get Digestive support.
Went to an amazing outdoor obstacle course!

Got challenged by a group of 10 year olds to compete. So excited to see young children (both boys and girls) getting physical and active - able to move their own body weight.
Can you do a pull up?
Can you lift your own body weight?
As we move into winter will you be more or less active?
Find unique ways to be active daily.
Have a brilliant week.
We live a 5 and 2 lifestyle. This helps find the balance. The balance between doing what you are supposed to and doing what you like doing. These are not necessarily opposite; rather just different.
Humans need both consistency and inconsistency and the 5 & 2 lifestyle offers that.
5 days per week live your life a certain way and 2 days per week change it up for something different.
So for me my daily rituals and routines, healthy, clean and raw lifestyle, discipline and diligence for 5 days in a week is then changed up for 2 days of impromptu, situational, go with the wind, diverse experiences, walk barefoot!
What is your ying and yang?
Breakfast - smoothie; a patient told me that it was not so nice tasting!

I spoke with Phumzile today about time management. Anyone who feels super busy and has no time for anything and constantly chasing their tail perhaps needs to stop, breathe and plan out their time.
We do a time consultation to determine what you spend your time on and how to be more effective. There is always room for improvement!
Breakfast - smoothie fruit and veg
Snack - Sharon fruit
Lunch - smoothie protein
Dinner - chicken stew
Stay warm; make sure you keep the air moisture correct. Steaming and saline helps your upper respiratory tract tremendously. Remember mucus membranes work better when moist!
Sunday afternoons is such a great time for reflection;
Reflect on the past week - what worked well; what did not. What gave your fulfillment and what did not.
Now focus on the week ahead...what will you do differently to make sure that you are growing.
My mentor has a say “you are either green and growing or ripe and rotting!”
Have a sensational week
A patient asked me today; do I really just have smoothies for my daily food...do I not get very hungry and my energy levels?
I explained to her:
1) my food is raw and nutritionally dense so 90% of what I consume I use for good and is absorbed quickly
2) my smoothies are thick and 750ml big which means that do have a fair amount of calories
3) I consume my smoothie over the whole day so small intakes actually improve my metabolism and allows my energy system to be constantly fueled!
Can you say the same about the food you eat?
Breakfast - smoothie
Lunch - smoothie
Dinner - soup
We are on detox for the next two weeks. We recommend that people detox between 2 to 4 times per month.
The body takes on so much toxicity from everyday life. Acidity and Chronic inflammation are directly related to this. This is a huge contributor to many chronic illnesses.
When was your last detox?
Breakfast - smoothie
Lunch - salad
Dinner - frittata
Thank you for the responses to the non negotiables...awesome to see people committing to changing their lives!
A big non negotiable for me is the conscious changing of my thoughts. As negative thoughts appear we dissolve them with affirmations and visualisations. I have this part of my daily ritual; analyzing my thoughts and programming them with affirmations!
What affirmations are you using for yourself currently?
Welcome everyone new to breaking bread. The intention of this group is to provide regular connection to a healthy lifestyle. I send through what I eat on a daily basis and then some extra information.
Please remember it is non-response so do not reply directly to this group! If you wish to discuss something with me rather WhatsApp me directly.
Breakfast - smoothie green
Lunch smoothie nuts and oats and protein
So great to have smoothies again
Dinner - chicken and sweet potato
Chatted to a few patients today about their non negotiables; those things you have to do every day to make sure your health is on track...most people will brush their teeth no matter what happens in their day. However will forget to do the rituals and routines that make them great.
Commit today to those and do not leave the home without them!
Hopeful you all missed the messages.
An important part of the lifestyle of health and Happyness is time off spent with family and loved ones.
We attempt to plan short time off (like a long weekend) every 6 weeks and a longer time (like a week or so) every 12 weeks.
During holiday we have an all in; rent the experience policy...enjoy everything; try everything!
And through this learning occurs.
Management by wandering around allows you to have learning directly for you from situations quite detracted from your usual surroundings. These are the most profound learnings; Divinely Inspired for you to push stronger on your path.
What have you learnt recently?
In consultation with my family this is our learnings from our time off:
- keep upgrading yourself
- provide for your family the life and the rules to live it
- anything is possible; do not blink
- continue on your path regardless of how big the external circumstances appear
- be the one everyone in your circle respects
- got to stand out; be something unique
- sample life; enjoy the life you live
- it is a numbers game; there will be those who want what you have got to give
- do not be so needy that you bargain your own value
- be silent and let others talk the twak
- friendly gets you a long way
- ask directly for what you want
- sometimes you have to dig for the beauty but it is there
- be the expert in your field!
Happy start to the new week; we look forward to seeing you again and checking your spines!
Blessings for freedom day; may your African dream come true!
Breakfast - smoothie
Lunch - quiche
Dinner - Asian chicken, broccoli and rice noodles
I see this as we enter autumn and winter in JHB that the dry air contributes to the global dehydration of the body. So even though it is cold make sure you drink loads of water; coconut water to give electrolyte balance and omegas to lubricate!
Patients are now starting to fall prey to the change of weather. We promote healthy immune systems through early interventions.
Please send me messages as soon as symptoms start occurring so we can direct you quickly to improve how the immune system strengthens.
I do have a great article on how to focus on your immune system; send me an email and I will send it to you!
Stay healthy!
Remember getting sick is not the issue...rather how effectively you help your body recover.
Got sent a hectic link based on the opioid crisis in the states; interesting reading

Met with a new couple on Sunday lunchtime. They are keto-Genic in their approach to eating. My wife and I chatted afterwards and acknowledge how interesting all these different ways of eating. Based on genetic testing certain diets or eating styles will have positive benefits but some will have negative effects. Therefore it is not one size fits all.
What we recommend is find a eating plan that matches your own physiological and other demands. A well rounded balanced diet with emphasis on how the body responds is the best way.
Breathe in and breathe out
Take a piece of paper and write out all your current thoughts and emotions...ask the question - what serves me?
Any of the thoughts and emotions that do not serve you process them in a way that creates thoughts and emotions that do serve you.
Create affirmations that you can use everyday to keep you on track.
Have a sensational week
